In the middle of Ameland’s green expansive meadows stands the Ruijgh family’s cheese farm. There Johannes and Sanne, make the delicious Amelander cheeses and farm ice cream. All of this is prepared traditionally with fresh Amelander milk. Cheese is made throughout the year. This process can also be seen from the store through a window.
