1874 erbte Cornelis van 't Riet die Stellmacherei in der Dorpsstraat in Aarlanderveen von seinem verstorbenen Vater. Damals produzierten sie haupts\u00e4chlich landwirtschaftliche Wagen, Tilbury's und Schubkarren.
